The search for Mandar Verma ended Monday afternoon when the body of the 27-year-old Montréal man was found in the Rouge River west of Grenville. The Concordia University student had disappeared at 3 a.m. Sunday while swimming at the H2O Adventure kayaking school, located at the confluence of the Ottawa and the Rouge Rivers near Pointe-au-Chêne. The Sûreté du Québec had deployed two teams of divers and a helicopter in their search for the man who had been partying with friends and family at the Place Rouge campground.
